This policy applies to the NameAtlas iPhone app, the NameAtlas marketing website, and related support interactions.

2. Information we collect

• Account information such as email address, authentication identifiers, and optional display name.
• List and profile information such as saved names, likes, maybes, skips, shared list membership, and invite codes.
• Subscription status needed to verify premium access through Apple.
• Local preference data such as app language, theme selection, onboarding progress, and certain usage counters stored on your device.

3. How we use information

• To create and secure accounts.
• To sync lists, preferences, and shared shortlist activity across devices or users you invite.
• To operate premium features, enforce usage limits, and improve the reliability of the service.
• To respond to support or legal requests.

4. How information is shared

• With infrastructure providers that help operate NameAtlas, including Supabase for authentication and database services.
• With Apple when you use Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases, or StoreKit subscription features.
• With people you explicitly invite to a shared list.
• When required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

5. Data retention

We keep account and list information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Some preferences remain stored locally on your device until you remove the app or clear them.

6. Your choices

• You can choose whether to create an account or continue without one where the app allows it.
• You can update profile information such as your display name and last name in the app settings.
• You can stop sharing a shortlist by ending access to a shared list.
• You can contact us to request deletion or other privacy-related help.

7. Security and international processing

NameAtlas uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. Because service providers may process data in different countries, your information may be transferred and stored outside your home jurisdiction.

8. Children's privacy

NameAtlas is intended for adults choosing names and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it if appropriate.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and revise the date above.
